Hello, I´m 39 years old, TEFL qualified with an interesting ethnic background; Brazilian, Japanese, Spanish and Italian. I´m very reliable, with lots of energy and enthusiasm also have a good sense of humour. I´m a responsible and caring person.
I am an experienced TEFL qualified English Teacher who has over 6 years of teaching experience both in Spain and in Brazil. During my teaching experience I`ve taught many children privately at home or in schools from as young as 3 years old upwards as well as teenagers and adults and I thoroughly enjoy working particuarly with children and designing classes to fit around their needs and interests, including many fun activites such as singing songs, playing learning games, drawing and role playing.
I`ve also worked as a bilingual canguro, taking care of a small children with responsibilities that included taking them to playgroups, shopping and cooking their meals.
I teach English privately, helping and encouraging children with school homework and exams, to enable them to achieve their best potential in exams and furthermore chosen careers.
I have taught English for two of the main schools in the city of Belo Horizonte-BR (Rizvi International Schools and Luziana Lanna) for groups and In-company as well as privately. I have lived in London for five years where I mastered English from the ground up, which also enables me to thoroughly understand and be able to teach it from a learner`s perspective. I have also lived in Japan for seven years which has given me an invaluable understanding in adapting to different cultures.
I live in the central area of Barcelona and I am available to travel throughout the metropolitan region,
I love teaching and I like to have fun with my students without losing focus in achieving their goals.
