My journey into caregiving began when I supported a family friend living with dementia and arthritis. The desire to provide proper, attentive care inspired me to pursue formal training, earning my caregiving certificate. I now support adults with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, mobility, feeding (including NGT/tube feeding), monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar, and providing companionship. These experiences strengthened my patience, observation, and problem solving skills, allowing me to create a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for those I care for.
Alongside this, I have cared for children from newborns to school age, including raising my niece. I provide routines, emotional support, feeding, hygiene, learning opportunities, and a calm, loving environment where children feel safe and confident. My experience with children has grown my attentiveness, adaptability, and ability to anticipate needs.
Both experiences shaped me into a warm, reliable, and deeply caring person. I bring empathy, consistency, and genuine presence to every home, helping children and adults feel supported, safe, and valued.
