PERSONAL PROFILE: I worked in finance for the majority of my career but decided to change careers and follow my passion for helping others which lead me to the care sector. I worked with people of varying needs and learning abilities. After moving to Spain I soon realised I wanted to pursue teaching in a more active way which led me to get my TEFL certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign language) which is the first step in taking my passion further. Having studied Health and Social Care and working with people with a wide range of learning requirements and disabilities I have gained valuable skills which I believe will be very useful in a classroom setting.
LEISURE INTERESTS: Reading, music, walking, swimming, learning about different cultures, thus enabling me to travel, and respect the cultures and believes of the countries, I visit or people I meet.

I was in charge of managing homes for Adults With Learning Disabilities, Autism, and other Mental Health Illness. Making sure the service users and staff were safe, and that the home is service user-friendly while also being a safe environment for all employees and visitors. I was responsible for managing and training a team of 30 old and new staff while keeping within the set training budget. I was also responsible for booking and recording all service users appointments (doctors, hospital, dentists etc) for any necessary health care needs.
