Dear Family,
My name is Bibiana. I am a 26 year-old spanish girl. I currently live in Ourense, where I was born and where I studied education at the University of Vigo. Now I'm a teacher (Spanish and English teacher with experience).
I come from a family of 4: My parents, Cristina (44) and Angel (49). I have a little sister, Sandra is 18 years old and she is a nursery in a hospital. My mother is the head of quality in a factory and my father is the sales manager in a well known beverage company. We spend a lot of our spare time together, going on trips and doing other leisure activities. We also have three dogs: two Golden Retriever called Dana and Sean and a Cocker Spaniel called Jodie. They are part of the family, and a very good friend to all of us. We also have three cats, Velvet, Miguel and White.
My mother tongue is, of course, Spanish (I speak my second mother tongue, Galician, very good) and I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in primary school, and it was also the language of instruction in the secondary school I attended. I have in addition been taking courses taught in English at university and in the Official Language School in my city, where I reach the highest level. (Advanced CAE)
I speak a basic level of French. I begun learning it in high school.
Through my language teachers (most of them natives), I have learnt a lot about English, English speaking countries and its culture and life.
When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children aged between newborn to 17 years. I also organized for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we sang, danced, played games, role played, drew, painted, and narrated stories. We also visited the public library, the zoo, and went out on picnics.
I have helped my parents look after my sister since her birth. I have three little cousins, aged 1, 5 and 8 years old) and they are very cheerful and full of energy. I usually look after them after school and at the weekends. Now I'm living in London with a family, working as an au pair since 5 months ago. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.
When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, travelling a lot! being with my friends, going for walks and reading a good book. I also enjoy watch movies (and I hate horror films!). Did I already mention that I love to read and write? At high school, I wrote a monthly article, for the students' magazine. I also write poems, lots of kind of genres of poems and I was thinking to release a book, so time to time... I like practising sports and I would like to learn to play tennis someday.
I am a responsible girl, organized, clean, active, dreamy, fun, with lots of love....
I don't like alcohol, never drank any.
I don't smoke but don't mind if you do.
I feel safe driving.
Also, I don't like so much nightlife.... I prefer going out during the day, that doesn't mean that one day I couldn't go out on the night to go to the cinema or having a coca-cola with friends (but not too late come back home).
I can do houseworks, cooking and washing the dishes.
I want to become an au-pair because I love children, I like to talk to them, play with them, be around them and just see them be themselves. I also want to become an au-pair because I want to get to know other cultures then my own, and to become apart of other people life.Through the years I have watched over many children, my sister, my cousins and also other children. I am very handly with children. I know the basics like how to change a diaper, bottle feed young babies, put them to bed, bath them, play with them and take good care of them, But I also know some more like how to react if something happens to the child or someone around it. I hope to get a great experience out of this journey and meet people that I?ll cherish for the rest of my life.
I also have decided to be an au pair because I hope it can help improve my English, and my career as a teacher. I would also like to make new friends, get to know cities and its culture.
As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and be happy with each other :)

Mi nombre es Bibiana. Soy una chica española de 26 años. Actualmente vivo en Ourense, donde nací y donde estudié en la Universidad de Vigo. Ahora soy profesora (de Español e Inglés, con experiencia demostrable).
Mi familia consta de 4 miembros: Mis padres, Cristina (44) y Angel (49). Tengo una hermana pequeña, Sandra tiene 18 años y es una enfermera en un hospital. Mi madre es jefa de calidad en una fábrica y mi padre es el gerente de ventas en una empresa de bebidas muy conocida. Pasamos mucho de nuestro tiempo libre juntos, yendo en los viajes y hacer otras actividades de ocio. También tenemos tres perros: dos Golden Retriever llamados Dana y Sean y una Cocker Spaniel llamada Jodie. Ellos son parte de la familia y son muy buenos amigo para todos nosotros. También tenemos tres gatos: Terciopelo, Miguel y Blanco.
Mi lengua materna es, por supuesto, español (hablo de mi segunda lengua materna, el gallego, muy bueno) y también con fluidez en Inglés. Comencé a aprender Inglés en la escuela primaria, y también era la lengua de enseñanza en la escuela secundaria la que asistí. Además, he estado tomando cursos que se imparten en Inglés en la universidad y en la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de mi ciudad, donde alcancé el máximo nivel. (Advanced CAE)
Hablo un nivel básico de francés. He empezado a aprenderlo en la escuela secundaria.
A través de mis profesores de idiomas (la mayoría de ellos nativos), he aprendido mucho acerca de Inglés, países de habla inglesa y su cultura y la vida allí.
Cuando se trata de la experiencia de cuidado de niños, he cuidado niños de edades comprendidas entre los recién nacidos a 17 años. También organizo para ellos y tomo parte en actividades recreativas interiores y exteriores: cantamos, bailamos, jugamos, papel, dibujo, pinto y narro historias. También visitamos la biblioteca pública, el zoológico, y salimos de picnic.
He ayudado a mis padres a cuidar a mi hermana desde su nacimiento. Tengo tres primos pequeños, con edades de 1, 5 y 8 años) y son muy alegres y llenos de energía. Acostumbro a estar con ellos después del colegio y los fines de semana (Para que mis tíos puedan tener tiempo libre, ya que mi tío es médico). Ahora estoy viviendo en Londres con una familia y trabajando como au pair desde hace 5 meses.. Puedo decir que sinceramente que me encanta pasar tiempo con niños.
Hablando de ocio, me gustan las cosas simples de la vida. Me gusta estar al aire libre, viajar mucho! estar con mis amigos, salir a pasear y leer un buen libro. También me gusta ver películas (y no me gustan las películas de terror!). ¿ya mencioné que me encanta leer y escribir? En la escuela secundaria, escribía un artículo mensual, para la revista de los estudiantes. También escribo poemas, muchos tipos de poemas y yo estaba pensando en escribir un libro, así que cada cosa a su tiempo ... Me gusta practicar deportes y me gustaría aprender a jugar al tenis algún día.
Soy una chica responsable, organizada, limpia, activa, divertida, soñadora, con mucho amor ....
No me gusta el alcohol.
No fumo, pero no me importa si lo hacéis vosotros.
Sé conducir con precaución y segura.
Además, no me gusta la vida nocturna .... prefiero salir durante el día, eso no quiere decir que un día no salga a la noche para ir al cine o tomar una Coca-Cola con los amigos (pero no vuelvo demasiado tarde a casa).
Puedo hacer tareas domésticas, cocinar y fregar los patos.
Quiero ser au pair porque me encantan los niños, me gusta hablar con ellos, jugar con ellos, estar cerca de ellos y sólo ver cómo son ellos mismos. A través de los años he visto a muchos niños más, a mi hermana, a mis primos y también hijos de vecinos. Sé lo básico como la forma de cambiar un pañal, dar el biberón a los bebés, meterlos en la cama, bañarlos, jugar con ellos y cuidar bien de ellos, pero también sé cómo reaccionar si algo le sucede al niño o alguien a su alrededor. Espero conseguir una gran experiencia de este viaje y conocer gente que voy a atesorar por el resto de mi vida.
También he decidido ser un au pair porque espero que pueda ayudar a mejorar mi Inglés, y mi carrera como profesor. Me gustaría hacer nuevos amigos, conocer ciudades y su cultura.
En cuanto a preferencias se refiere, estoy en busca de una familia que esté encantada de que me quede con ellos y ser feliz todos juntos :)
